About meDrew Bumbak started his career in public safety in 1986 as a volunteer firefighter in Fairfax, Virginia. Since that time, he has served as a career firefighter, paramedic, police officer, SWAT medic, NDMS team member, emergency manager, and in a plethora of other roles. Since 2005, he has worked as a consultant in the field of emergency management in the Washington, DC area, providing expert guidance to public and private clients throughout the world.
